Digital dictation developer nFlow says it has added to its record of industry firsts by introducing a revolutionary XML based Automatic User Management (AUM) interface. The concept, derived directly from the nFlow user group, means the system can be integrated with any user database source removing the need to administer it as a separate system. Typical user database sources include Microsoft Active Directories, Novell eDirectories or HR databases, but nFlow say the technology is not limited to any one system. IT Administrators have already hailed the development as a pioneering breakthrough technology for legal office systems with one major law firm commenting 'We have been crying out for this sort of technology for years'.
Added as a standard component of the system, the interface has been designed typically for larger firms where the administration of users across multiple systems creates significant resource overhead. For smaller firms this new technology has been complimented with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) integration, allowing users to be manually imported in to nFlow from any LDAP enabled server, for example Microsoft Active Directories. This saves the need to re-enter user data.
With an impressive list of industry firsts including such things, auto dictation recovery, DMS and PMS integration, trusted authentication login and replicated server implementations, this latest pioneering solution maintains nFlow's reputation for consistently delivering more advanced and innovative digital dictation software. |
