Bevan Ashford rollout DictaFlow after seeing a significant improvement in turnaround times

""The nFlow implementation has proven so far to be painless and something everyone immediately benefits from.""
15th September 2003

nFlow Software announced today that they had recently received an order from top 50 law firm Bevan Ashford to rollout DictaFlow to its Bristol, Birmingham & London offices. This follows a highly successful pilot within the firm's Construction department that realised some substantial productivity benefits.

Commenting on the decision to go practice wide with DictaFlow, Bevan Ashford CIO, Dick Sayers said "Implementing Digital Dictation is a key project within a programme of change initiatives aimed at giving our fee-earners and secretaries the tools they need to work more effectively and to continue our programme of delivering a better quality, more responsive service to our clients. The nFlow implementation has proven so far to be painless and something everyone immediately benefits from."

Bevan Ashford's digital dictation project manager Pete Goodchild continued "We have been impressed with the way nFlow have worked with us throughout the project being proactive, professional and yet personal. An example of this is our personalised support portal that has proven to be an efficient way to receive updates and version changes. Another factor has been nFlow's willingness to listen to customer feedback and implementing the suggestions which has impressed our users."

Bevan Ashford will deploy DictaFlow in a three server distributed setup that will see servers in the Bristol, Birmingham and London offices replicating with each other to create a single enterprise environment. With DictaFlow still believed to be the only system on the market that can demonstrate such a distributed server infrastructure in multiple offices Bevan Ashford becomes the latest top 100 law firm to deploy nFlow's innovative, efficient and resilient design.

'We are extremely excited with the way this project has gone', Rob Lancashire of nFlow said, 'The Bevan Ashford team embraced DictaFlow with enthusiasm quickly using it to access the productivity gains it offered. For instance we measured the document turnaround times for various documents before the pilot was installed and then we used the system to provide reports on document turnaround times after it had gained some data. The lawyers and secretaries had quickly mastered the system and in no time were seeing significant improvements in document turnaround times of priority work.'

The rollout of DictaFlow at Bevan Ashford starts in early August and is expected to progress over the next 4 months. After working with nFlow's consultants at an early stage to do a comprehensive transfer of knowledge the Bevan Ashford IT team will be handling the entire rollout in-house. In addition nFlow will be integrating the system with Bevan Ashford's Axxia Arrista Accounts System and their new DMS from Meticulus and IOS Interalia Word environment.
