Essex firm sees multiple benefits with nFlow DDS

"When we reviewed the leading systems we liked nFlow"
17th October 2005

Essex law firm Sternberg Reed Taylor & Gill have reported significant cost savings and improved business efficiency in the 12 months since nFlow was rolled out to 67 users across their two offices. Senior Partner, Mr Geoffrey Sternberg said, 'We chose nFlow because it represented the most straightforward choice. Twelve months on and I am extremely happy with our selection, and the results!' nFlow say they believe the sentiments of the firm continue to reinforce their growing differentiator as the DDS supplier who makes it easy to buy digital dictation.

Commenting further on the project Mr Sternberg added, 'When we reviewed the leading systems we liked nFlow's straight, no nonsense approach. They were not pushy and were the only company to give us a competitive price from day one. We worked closely with the nFlow team to install the system, implementing multiple points of access to the software for lawyers and secretaries. The practice has seen significant cost savings as well as increased flexibility for the firm's fee earning and secretarial teams.'

As part of the desktop implementation connected devices and portable recording devices were installed and the system was integrated into the firm's AIM practice management system. Fee earners are able to dictate either on the move or at their desks, whilst both fee earners and secretaries can work from home via Microsoft Remote Desktop. As a further extension of the project Sternbergs are installing the innovative low cost single line nFlow Telephony Dictation Interface (TDI). This will allow their large criminal practice team to simply dictate via mobile phones during dead time, such as a court recess. The typed documents can then be on their desks waiting for them when they get back.
