Customers Congratulate nFlow on 2008 Annual Conference Success
"Last year, the conference was great, but this time it has exceeded my expectations."
5th June 2008
nFlow, a leading provider of digital dictation solutions, has successfully closed its second Annual Conference, hosted at Reynolds Porter Chamberlain LLP, London. Building on the success of its first ever User Conference in 2007, this year the event offered an informative keynote address along with interactive sessions and lively roundtable discussions covering key issues facing the legal sector such as mobility & remote working, disaster recovery in relation to critical processes, and data protection within digital dictation workflow. In addition, nFlow launched nFlow Version 5, which will see the delivery of the first in its class 2nd Generation digital dictation solution (DDS2.0) underpinned by architecture based on Microsoft Best Practice and the.net platform.
Well attended by over 70 people from 56 firms including customers, technology partners and industry consultants, the conference keynote address titled ‘The future of Digital Dictation’ was delivered by Neil Cameron from Neil Cameron Consulting. Touching upon the evolution of digital dictation, Neil highlighted some of the key challenges that lawyers face and how they could be overcome. A highly interactive session, the overwhelming consensus was that digital dictation is here to stay but that it is imperative that the technology continuously evolves in line with the changing working practices of firms in the future.
Marina Herbert, IT Director, Trowers & Hamlins, said, “Last year, the conference was great, but this time it has exceeded my expectations. Neil Cameron’s keynote address was excellent and the discussions throughout the day have given me lots to think about. It has been a truly novel experience.”
Other external speakers at the event included Julie Berry from RPC, Jason McCouaig from Gotelee & Goldsmiths, Rory O’Neil from RIM and Neil Davison from RPC.
Rob Lancashire, Sales and Marketing Director at nFlow, commented, “We are delighted and very encouraged by the success of this Conference, second year running. We are committed to partnering with industry stakeholders and customers to deliver the most effective solutions. Events such as this one are invaluable as they offer a forum for networking, but more importantly an opportunity for open debate and discussion on how challenges faced by our customers can be addressed.
“We at nFlow would like to thank our customers and partners for all their support over the last year. We look forward to continued and further strengthened partnerships in the year ahead and hope to see everyone again at our next Conference in 2009.”
The Champagne Reception and Gala Dinner river cruise held on The Nautcia from St. Katherine’s Dock added to the spirited nature of the event. The conference was held during 4-5th June.
The Conference was sponsored by Olympus, Grundig Business Systems, Dictate Now, Iris Legal Solutions, Voicepath, Global Secretarial, UKTyping, Astute, Berkely IT and Legal Technology Insider.
