nFlow DDS Mobility Suite, Interwoven integration and v5 preview on show at Legal IT 2008

"Digital Dictation looks set to enter 2nd Generation of products as nFlow prepare for Legal IT Show."
28th January 2008

nFlow, a leading supplier of digital dictation solutions today announced their plans for the forthcoming Legal IT Show at the Business Design Centre, London. Throughout the event nFlow will be demoing their much talked about nFlow DD Mobility Suite, an extensive add-on for nFlow DDS that allows users to access dictation functionality through their BlackBerry and Microsoft PDA, as well as upload dictations from portable devices via the web or email.

Alongside their Mobility Suite nFlow will also be demonstrating the Interwoven integration that has come out of the partnership between nFlow and Phoenix Business Systems (www.phoenixbs.com). This allows users to initiate dictations from within a FileSite workspace as well as automatically profile documents created from a transcription straight back in to the workspace. Documents will be automatically linked to the completed dictation when they are saved in Interwoven so that the author can open the document straight from their completed folder in nFlow, review the document and dictate amendments. The dictated amendments will have the reviewed document automatically attached so that when the secretary opens the new dictation they will see a link straight to the document saving them time having to search for it. nFlow’s use of a document type definition for a dictation has also allowed the integration to automatically start the document automation process making the integration probably one of the most complete offerings on the market.  nFlow teamed up with Phoenix Business Solutions because of their expertise with Interwoven’s WorkSite product, and because of the various successful applications which Phoenix have written.

From a development stand point, nFlow has invested a significant amount of time and money throughout 2007 developing extended functionality to their core DD solution, including the final development stages of Version 5, set to be released mid 2008. Version 5 has recently undergone extensive testing at the Microsoft Scalability labs which will ultimately ensure Version 5 is fully in line with Microsoft Best Practice and the .net platform.

“Legal IT is an exciting event for us this year as we will effectively be launching nFlow as the digital dictation supplier of choice for innovative and evolving law firms. What this means is that nFlow are the digital dictation supplier that continually develops technology that meets the ever changing requirements of innovative law firms. The combination of Version 5, the nFlow Mobility Suite and Integration Modules with core products, positions nFlow as the only supplier able to offer all the functionality required.” Said Rob Lancashire, nFlow Sales & Marketing Director.
