Faegre Benson Hobson Audley LLP selects nFlow
"nFlow"
12th January 2005
Following a successful pilot, Faegre Benson Hobson Audley (Faegre), has selected the nFlow digital dictation solution through implementation partner Tikit, for use in the London office. The system has also been implemented for a number of users in the US parent firm of Faegre & Benson to enable the transcription of work dictated by UK lawyers.
Faegre selected nFlow based upon its ease of use and flexibility. Unlike other digital dictation systems that use their own proprietary audio formats, an additional key feature of the nFlow system was its use of audio formats that are part of the standard Microsoft Windows package, enabling easy dictation exporting.
Jonathan Evans, Administrative Director at Faegre outlined the reasons for selection:
"Tikit have been supporting our London and Frankfurt offices for a number of years, so when we started looking for a digital dictation solution, we were happy to bring nFlow into the evaluation process. Once our need for data sharing outside of the firm had been identified, nFlow's use of non-proprietary technology and its flexibility, led us to our choice."
Rob Lancashire, Sales and Marketing Director at nFlow:
"Faegre's selection highlights the need for firms to recognise the implications of proprietary technologies for data encoding, especially for digital dictation. nFlow guarantee our commitment to open technologies, ensuring our current and future customers have total control over their own intellectual property."
