Kerman & Co have completed the implementation of nFlow digital dictation to all its fee earners and secretaries in their West End offices. Kerman & Co had an existing digital dictation system. However it had suffered technical problems that had resulted in it being very time consuming to run and therefore it was not being used to its full advantage or with total confidence. The firm decided to go back to the market electing to trial nFlow with a small group of users. Within two weeks of starting the trial the decision was made to deploy it to all users.
'Because we had such problems with our first system, we wanted to be quite sure that this time, we made the right choice. However, right from the start, nFlow worked to make us feel comfortable,' says Kerman & Co practice manager, Caroline Green, 'their project manager looked after us, quickly and efficiently addressing any concerns we had. We also tested out their support and found that any queries were answered promptly and by someone who knew what they were talking about. The software is stable and easy to use. Both the company and system has performed faultlessly.'
Since implementing the system Kerman & Co have been able to use nFlow's flexible and intuitive workflow to visibly reduce backlogs and document turn around times. Users have adopted the simple interfaces quickly with the migration to the nFlow system being very painless.
Asked whether she felt she had made the right decision to swap to nFlow, Caroline Green comments,
'Absolutely. Before we chose nFlow we checked out all the leading market systems. Generally they were comparable although nFlow did seem to have a more proactive approach to openness and value. nFlow just seemed better value in every way.'
nFlow believes it is being favoured in this new era of replacement digital dictation systems because it represents a market leading value proposition that is simpler to buy and run than other systems.
