nFlow software announced today that they have recently received an order to rollout their DictaFlow software across the firm at the Birmingham practice Lee Crowder. Gaining Lee Crowder as a customer is particularly pleasing as the team there, headed by Nigel Williams, are at the forefront of legal software integration. Lee Crowder are leading developers of the exciting VisualFiles solution from Solicitec, a product that only just pipped nFlow's DictaFlow to the best newcomer award at the 2002 Loties.
Talking on why he chose DictaFlow, Nigel Williams said, "Quite simply they offered the best functionality for price, and understood the requirement for integration with other best of breed products something that I believe they will deliver."
In fitting with Lee Crowder's vision of best of breed integration, they are keen to combine DictaFlow and VisualFiles. Through the use of web service technology, Lee Crowder have already made significant progress in integrating VisualFiles with Elite, and bringing DictaFlow into this process will complete the circle. The vision is to make DictaFlow a standard component within the VisualFiles desktop so that a lawyer simply selects a button on a matter "filecover" to start a dictation on that matter. The DictaFlow interface will appear with the relevant information such as document type, client matter code, etc, already passed to it from VisualFiles. Once dictated this information will be used by the secretary to automatically open and populate the relevant template from within VisualFiles so that the circle is completed.
