Digital dictation developer nFlow have launched a telephony dictation interface (TDI) that allows users to dictate from any push button telephone. Whilst not a new idea the system has been uniquely optimised for mobile phones allowing a fee earner to dictate from anywhere without worrying about losing their dictation if they lose the signal. The new offering also includes a low cost single line option for smaller firms and firms that are only looking for an emergency remote access point.
Scalable from one to many telephone lines the system provides the user with the same dictation functionality they have with the nFlow desktop dictation software, including playback, record, rewind, forward and insert record, as well as the ability to add information such as matter ID and priority. The system can run on an inexpensive desktop PC and employs nFlow's proven recording protection technology.
As almost everyone carries a mobile phone with them nFlow say that the new product is an ideal cost effective solution for providing fee earners with a remote dictation facility. They add that when combined with the comparative cost of an nFlow digital dictation system, its proven capabilities across many UK law firms and nFlow's reputation for delivering no nonsense, quality service, the case for nFlow having the lowest total cost of ownership is significantly strengthened.
